Inshore Racing

There are an array of inshore & offshore events running throughout the year, some serious some

not so serious. These events are a great way of gaining new skills, building on your own experience and learning about what makes a winning crew. Not least they are about having fun and trying something new. Please see our sailing calender or contact us for further information about individual places or chartering a boat as a whole.

  Offshore Racing

RORC is the principle organiser of Offshore Racing in the UK with a host of offshore racing events running throughout the year.

The Junior Offshore Group (JOG)  provides highly competitive races for IRC rated yachts with a full programme grouped into an Offshore and an Inshore Series, both running throughout the season.

JP Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race
Saturday 19th June 2010

One of the world’s largest and most famous yachting races, the JP Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race takes place in Cowes, Isle of Wight, England on the 19th June and attracts an annual entry of up to 1800 boats of all shapes and sizes.

We offer a range of skippered and bareboat options, so please contact us for full details.

 

Cowes Week
31st July - 7th August 2010

Cowes Week is one of the UK’s longest running and most successful sporting events. Offering a great mix of competitive sailing and social activities.

Individual Places on "Vespucci's Black Sheep", "Water Venture" and our First 40.7's are available from £195 plus vat per person. Alternatively contact us to charter the whole boat.

Looking to entertain in style then our CNB Bordeaux 60, Beneteau Oceanis 523 and Sealine SC38 offer the perfect platform. Available for daily hire they comes with a skipper, crew and hostess along with a range of catering options. Please contact us for further information.

     

Beneteau Cup
 27th - 29th August 2010

STOP PRESS....... Change in venue........ This years Beneteau Cup will be based out of Port Hamble........

The eagerly awaiting 2010 Beneteau Cup dates have been set! The event is to run over the weekend of the 27th - 29th August, 2010 - at a NEW venue, the Royal Southern Yacht Club, Hamble. 

Every year the Beneteau Cup attracts abilities of all leves, from the family fun of the Treasure Hunt to the cut and thrust of the Class A IRC fleet racing.  Combined with racing is to be a superb programme of afternoon and evening entertainment for all the family. 

On the Saturday and Sunday the cruising class will have two races each day, with the IRC class having an extra third race on the Sunday.

Berthing from Friday to Sunday at the Royal Southern Yacht Club (Hamble) is included in the entry fee (price tbc).  And what's more there will be competitions, free give-aways for adults and kids and lots of prizes for racing too!

Charter one of our Beneteau's and take part in this great event.

 

The Little Britain Challenge Cup (LBCC)
16th - 19th September 2010

The LBCC is a sailing regatta organised by and for the construction industry. Since the first event in 1988 the Little Britain Challenge Cup has grown from 3 to 250 entries and to include more than 3000 competitors, making it the biggest regatta in the UK after Cowes Week.

     

Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation Charity Sail 2010
