Solent Bareboat Yacht Charter, Private Boats for Hire & Rent, Corporate Sailing

Faqs

What experience do I need to bareboat charter?

Within The Solent the minimum experience that we require is a Day Skippers qualification with a minimum of 150 miles relevant experience as skipper. Also onboard there should be a designated First Mate with a minimum qualification of Competent Crew. All Skippers must hold a VHF Operators licence.

If you are venturing further afield, perhaps across the Channel, then we required a minimum qualification of Coastal Skipper for the skipper and Day Skipper for the First Mate.

If you do not hold the necessary qualifications then please contact us to discuss your options as in certain circumstances we may be able to accept proof of experience.

Equally you are responsible for any damage that may occur either through your or your crews actions.
